How can you help to educate a child in need?
Gold Award
The award is meant for children in or joining a college for a diploma or university for a degree course who cannot afford the education costs. The child will have completed secondary school (O-level), passed the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations and attained a grade of a minimum of B-plain (or >60 point out of 84) examined. The award is € 450/US$ 570 annually per child for four (4) years. The award will be used to pay tuition fees, stationery (writing materials and textbooks), moderate living, medical care and transport costs for the beneficiary. Silver Award
The award is meant for children in or joining the secondary school or polytechnic (to gain skills in tailoring and dress making, masonry, carpentry etc), but are unable to pay the required fees. These are children who have completed a primary school, passed Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination, and scored more than 300 marks out of 500 examined. The award is €200/US$250annually per child for four (4) years. This award will be used to buy school uniforms, books (writing material and textbooks) and tuition fees for the beneficiary.
